Skin Eruptions

Known as pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy, or PUPPP. One of the many side effects during pregnancy, usually appears during 2nd trimester.

You should be pleased to know that this condition doesn't affect you and your baby and it generally disappears after delivery. Symptoms of PUPPP include rashes appearing on your tummy as stretch marks, thighs, buttocks or arms of the expectant mother.

There are many types of skin conditions and rashes that can occur during pregnancy and they usually always subside after delivery. It is important to check with your practitioner for professional advise.
