Natural Remedies

Garlic in White Wine

I've talked about the health benefits of garlic in my previous post. I'd like to introduce a natural remedy for curing cold, preventing cardiovascular disease and cancer to you today. 



Ingredients 

  • 1 kg garlic (peel and cut in halves)
  • 2.5 liters white wine
  • 250g cane sugar


Instructions 

  1. Put everything together and store in an air tight glass container in a dark place away from the sun. 
  2. Let it sit for at least 3 months or up to 2 years before using.
  3. You should store them into several small glass containers. Use the first one after 3 months so the rest can keep brewing until you are ready to eat them.

Consuming as a diet supplement

  • Adults drink 5-10 ml along with a glove of garlic after dinner on daily basis.
  • For children. dilute 2.5 ml with a cup of water. Consume after dinner on daily basis.
  • The taste of alcohol and scent of garlic will eventually fade away as time passes. This is totally normal and expected.

Tips: You may substitute white wine with white vinegar if you prefer. Follow the same instructions and consumption guidelines.
